Andres Moreno and I are back for part 5 of our enterprise AI agent design series, this time focused on meta-agents. We break down what meta-agents are, where they fit into the agent loop, and when it actually makes sense to build them in production.

We also frame meta-agents as output guardrails: a second layer of agents that verify your primary foundational model call did what it was supposed to do without breaking the rules. The twist, of course, is that the rules are yours to define.
